I had not shared these feelings with anyone. Through one of the staff-mentor's tender, caring, and loving demeanor and wise counsel, I began to deal with these questions and reevaluate my relationship to my husband. There were many sessions when I knew that the Holy Spirit was directing our conversations. This was a large part of the healing process."

I am currently raising my grandson and my husband's job keeps him on the road instead of at home to help. So much shame and hurt comes with all of those things, not just for me, but my family. Molestation is so common and also is swept under the rug. Everyone has issues and a past. Atlas truly helped me to love myself, and to see that God loves me. The staff-mentor never judged or looked down on me, despite confessing all the awful things I had done. You have to release all that pain and shame to forgive and heal. All the people at ATLAS know how to walk with you through the tough stuff."
